A cultural policy scandal
Facts we know:

In the past 50 years, the city of Zurich has acted inappropriately in connection with the Heidi Weber Le Corbusier house, let alone support the conservation efforts of Heidi Weber. When the building was handed over to the city of Zurich, city officials promised to create a foundation under public law. Unfortunately, this promise has not been kept. Additionally, the building's name was changed into "pavilion" (which in German means a summerhouse or Gazebo), which distorts and eradicates the history of the building. Last but not least, in a radio interview, Peter Haerle, in his capacity as the Cultural Director of the city of Zurich, has accused Heidi Weber of dishonorable behaviour and other misconduct that can inflict irreparable damage to her reputation. This is all intolerable and not in the interest of Zurich's residents, given Heidi Weber had been willing to donate the museum itself and her art collection to the foundation, and therefore to the public. August 2017

Decision of the High Court of the canton of Zurich in the case of Heidi Weber against Peter Haerle for libel on December 13th, 2017.
